End Human Trafficking: Community Conversation on Labor Trafficking

Details: The USF Department of Global Health in collaboration with The FREE Network, the Disaster and Humanitarian Relief (DAHR) Student Collaborative, Lutheran Family Services and the USF Office of Community Engagement and Partnerships (OCEP) presents End Human Trafficking: Community Conversations on Labor Trafficking.

This event will start with a panel discussion on a whole community approach for looking at anti-human trafficking efforts that are currently taking place in regards labor trafficking. The panel will be moderated by Joanna Gutierrez Winters, Chair/President of the FREE Network, in addition to 4 other speakers.

Following our discussion, we will have three facilitated breakout sessions where students, community partners, professionals, and survivors can come together to strategies on action steps to identify prevention and intervention strategies that encourage innovation and collaboration to protect some of our most vulnerable populations.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
