Following recent indictments related to human trafficking in the Southeast, the Wage and Hour Division’s Southeast Region will convene federal, state, and local organizations to discuss Labor Trafficking in the Agriculture Industry. Topics of discussion will include: common indicators of trafficking in agriculture, how to report suspected labor trafficking, and how employers, enforcement agencies, and community organizations can collaborate to combat these issues.
