End Human Trafficking: A Community Approach, Department of Global Health

LOCATION

Phyllis P. Marshall Student Center, Room 2709, Tampa, FL 33620

The USF Department of Global Health in collaboration with the Disaster and Humanitarian Relief (DAHR) Student Collaborative and the FREE Network, will present End Human Trafficking: A Community Approach.

This event will start with a panel discussion on a whole community approach on anti-human trafficking efforts. The panel will be moderated by Joanna Gutierrez Winters from the FREE Network and will consist of a series of speaker including a survivor, a community advocate, a faculty member and a member of the law enforcement community.

Following our discussion, we will have facilitated breakout sessions where students, community partners, professionals, and survivors can come together to strategize on action steps to identify prevention and intervention strategies to encourage innovation and collaboration to protect some of our most vulnerable populations.

This event is free and open to the public. Breakfast will be provided.
